Vilnius, Buenos Aires, Long Beach: A Journey from groves to grooves and to the Garden of Tellurian Vibrations
Our Garden Program has been selected as one of 3 gardens for the special Ars Electronica Home Delivery program: “Ars Electronica Home Delivery” is a broadcasting format live from the Ars Electronica Center. It offered a weekly program that included guided tours of exhibitions, excursions to labs, concerts with real-time visualizations, Deep Space LIVE sessions, workshops with engineers and talks with artists and scientists from all over the world.
Journey by MUNTREF Arte y Ciencia
Within the framework of the Ars Electronica Festival 2020, a physical circle of 120 chairs was created, set up in the main square in Linz. It represented the different garden partners as it was not possible for them to go to Linz due to the COVID-19 situation.

Muntref Arte y Ciencia, as one of Ars Electronica partners, created a Journey Video to share our life in Buenos Aires during the lockdown. This video was shown on Ars Electronica Festival channels.
In order to protect the public health against the spread of COVID-19, our National Government established the regulations of social, preventive and mandatory isolation. Argentine citizens must remain in their homes and may make minimum and essential outings of no more than 500 meters.
In our Journey Delivery Video, students, researchers, and other participants of MUNTREF Arte y Ciencia, made a 500-meter journey walk in their close surroundings, showing fragments of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and of it’s different landscapes.
